I feel a little guilty not getting here more often. The truth is I've been really busy and to be honest it's easier to write one liners over at facebook. Still, I plan to keep this journal going. There's something kind of old school emo about it. :)

I found it got a lot easier once I added a blogging plugin to FireFox (I've used DeepestSender and Scribefire). Not having to go to Livejournal.com, log in, go to the "write new post" page, etc., was a big bonus - now it's "click on the DeepestSender button on the toolbar, write post, click on Publish".

Posts, even one-liners, got a lot easier.

Facebook's probably nice for the community aspect, but I dislike it in that it explicitly excludes anybody who doesn't want to be a part of the Facebook world. My own Wordpress blog (even LJ, for that matter) gives equal-opportunity access.

I do use Deepest Sender so I have no excuse for not posting. I still come back everyday and read my friend's posts though.

You're right about facebook. I think that's why I plan on keeping my livejournal for now. There are some groups, mostly jpop things I still want to be a part of.
