Bear with me, I can't do this again till september now. :P
+ WELL YES THAT WAS A BIT OBVIOUS AND THEIR NAMES HAVE BEEN AN ALERT BACK FROM S5. But I am blissfully happy because River becoming the fierce lady she is makes perfect sense what with her amazing parents. And the fact that this mystery still isn't over because I have so many questions omg. How she winds up in the 60s orphanage in America. How she winds up in 2011 killing the Doctor -- and how the Doctor's going to solve that thing. When and why the Doctor decides to put young!River in a 51st century forest instead of with her parents. At what point "looking after Melody" becomes "SEXYTIMES WITH RIVER LMAO". But it is also deeply satisfying: River and Rory bonding in the two parter, the bizarre reversal where River has always been quite mummyish to Amy. RIVER BEING A LITTLE BIT TIME LORDY.
+ River was conceived on bunk beds. I am terribly impressed. Speaking of, the Ponds were perfect and lovely together. And I have such a thing for Rory in a cloak.
+ cold!Doctor will always be scary. And bizarre in contrast to his fluffy fez!loving self.
+ LORNA THY MIDDLE NAME IS RED HERRING. Fortunately you were also super cute and fun to watch.
+ And I generally enjoyed the episode muchly, what with all the alienness and the nurse!Sontaran and just alien people chilling doing their jobs and fights. I think I went ooooooh and got throat-tighty at all the right places, so I am content. And the cliff-hanger worked for me because clearly the baby grows up okay and the Ponds are safe and the immediate danger is gone , but the plot needs resolving. I can deal. Though TROLOLOL on the next episode title. lmao Moff, never change.
+ right, brb writing fic about lesbian silurians and their girlfriends. Moffat aint as smooth as RTD with teh gay -- the two chaps was definitely a bit belaboured -- but those two ladies distracted me an awful lot in very good ways.
