Oh, my heart.

If he were to choose, he’d choose this, being with Mycroft at the end of everything.

Mycroft opens his umbrella and, together, they watch the sun rise in a final blaze of glory.

Ow. But also yesssss. Mostly ow though :P

*hugs*

I think that this prompt was the hardest for me to write. When I first saw it, several ideas came to me but all of them were heartbreaking. So I ended up picking one that had a happy-sad thing going on. :))

And right now, I'm fighting the cheeky urge to answer your icon. XD

This one was on my short list. I loved the banter and the mostly calm acceptance and what else could you possibly do?

Oh wow. I've only joined the comm recently and I feel kinda giddy that this story was on someone's short list. Thank you. :)

I think that one of the reasons I love Mystrade is because they are both older and thus more calm and collected. They're not so hot headed or impulsive, I think. And that shows in their relationship. :)

Oh, that hurts but so gorgeous.

And I just finished watching Melancholia a couple hours ago...I need fluff :D

Glad you liked it!

I remember that right after I posted this on the comm, a friend showed me the trailer for Melancholia and I was like "ZOMG! The stories are similar!" @_@

And now I want to watch it too but not before I stock up on tissue, just in case. :)

Ooh, certainly gives me a "Melancholia" vibe. (Although I don't know what would be worse - the sun going supernova, or a planet crashing into the Earth.)

<3 glad you liked it!

Not sure about that either....It's either we slowly roast to a crisp or we scatter across space as the earth break up into pieces. ahahaha. there doesn't seem to be a better choice. ^_^
