[Alex is spending the day wandering around Promenade, trying to get his bearings. He's been on the island nearly a week, and hasn't made much progress to getting out.
He knows the others are right--that it isn't going to be that easy, that it's going to take time. But it's still driving Alex up the wall, wanting to claw at the walls of a cage he can't completely define. He's been talking to people, gathering information...but it isn't enough.
There has to be something more, something he can act on.
But until he finds that, he's going to wander, hands shoved into the pockets of a leather jacket. As if he really is free-- as if this place isn't just one giant jail cell.
And again, in his act of defiance, and a blatant slap in the face to their captors, he isn't wearing his damn mask.]
