[ After the first post, there had been another good response. Less than Ichigo would have liked, but enough to suit their needs. And for the past couple of days Ichigo was out delivering Madsen's carved soap, along with the occasional person coming to see her in person. Maybe you heard about this thing from an offhand mention. Maybe you saw it on the PORTAL, even if you didn't say anything. Maybe you were just in the area. It doesn't matter.
As dusk falls, and the TENEKA kicks in, it's probably a little weird to be sneaking off to someone's Place of Solace, but there's plenty of stadium lighting here. The whole place is set up for this sort of thing, in fact, so as you show up, don't be surprised to see Ichigo, Madsen, and probably a handful of others waiting in the midst of the gleaming floors. Nothing but a casual wave, or greeting is exchanged as people being to show up. Some trickle in one at a time. Some come in groups of friends. But you're all here for the same thing. And when the sun finally vanishes completely, Ichigo, and Emily stand up, and seem to pause. Look at one another. And nod. ]
Gentlemen, and ladies. Welcome to Fight club.
Now, you've already heard the cover story for why we're here. Well, it's half-true, but still. This is more than the movie reference.
We can't exactly have "Resistance tryouts", and gauge how well we'd fight against, or with each other. But, just because you fight here, doesn't mean you have to fight FOR us. Just remember the rules;
[ Madsen smirks, and shakes her head at Ichigo. ]
The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club. Not any of it.
The second rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club.
Third rule of Fight Club: Someone yells "stop!", goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. If you ignore this rule, or "conveniently" forget it, you will be mobbed by every single member at once. And we won't stop when you yell for it, either.
Fourth rule: Only one fight at a time, kids. Even if you've got a tag team, we're not looking for a slaughter.
Fifth rule: No killing. None. At all.
Sixth rule: Fights will go on as long as they have to.
Seventh rule: If you are assigned a tagteam opponent, me, and Madsen will decide for you. Do not jump into another person's fight. If you do, you will be mobbed.
And the eighth and final rule: if it's your first time at Fight Club? You have to fight.
[ Grins all around then, and Ichigo brushes his hands off looking around the gathered assembly.]
Alright. Tonight we're changing things up a little bit with some tagteams. That means you either get a partner to work with--. Or you get two opponents to fight against.
Yeah, that.
[ He and Madsen focus on different people. They aren't really examining so much as just trying to get the ball rolling. One after another, though, Ichigo, and Madsen each point to someone and through TENEKA say; ]

You. Step up.
((OOC: ETA If you want your characters to fight in a different setting from the arena, that's fine. Place(s) of Solace and what not are fine. Just not on, like, main street or some ridiculously obvious place? THANKS! ))
