hehe, I had the same problem with the "clergyman" bit for a scholarship, so I asked Rabbi Loewy to write it....ah, Rabbi Loewy :D
As for your recommendations, definately Mr. Glazer...he literally owes it to you, and it's not like he doesn't know you well enough after having you slave for him for an entire year. I think Mrs. Peikes would write a great recommendation, regardless of who you were. She'd making something spectacular up, anyway. And depending on how many you need....if its only two, then I think it would be good to have one english subject teacher and one hebrew subject one, so Rabbi Oratz may be the way to go too/instead of one of them.
And my suggestions were not at all influenced by the fact that I don't know the other two teachers... :p But I do think the those three would write you excellent recommendations.
slave? not at all. i don't know where you get your rumors from. ;) actually i do- but i personally didn't have sucha bad time of it. besides the first day of 11th grade when i came home crying. but that was before i even did anything, i was just confused. but really it was actually fun.
