I secretly hate the idea of people "introducing" things to others merely for the sheer joy of having introduced them to it. Why can't you just be glad that they like it? Or hope they do. And not have it be about their remembering it was you

And speaking of look what I can do, I totally did that to the kids the other day. I took the girls to the bathroom and they were all, "Miss Katie, look what I can do!" and then would hop on one foot or equally stupid things. So I said, "HEY! Look what I can do!!" ::freaky jump and clap::
