DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN KINGDOM OF HEAVEN YET!
Ok, so what did everyone think? I have to come to the conclusion that, as pretty as Orlando is (and he IS) he cannot act. Plus the movie was really choppy. Good fight scenes, but the story line was just plain not fleshed out enough. I mean, come on, what was the with mouse, then the candle, then the horizontal hokey pokey? Within like, 60 seconds of each other!!! Weird...Dan loved it though because it made historical references that I didn't understand. Another thing: the first time you see Sybilla (sp?) she's wearing desert middle eastern clothes and a bindi (the jeweled thing between her eyebrows) which is an indian (now hindu) mark of marriageability (or marriage) and auspiciousness. Why would a Christian chick be wearing a bindi in Jerusalem??? Seriously. I may be wrong, but that makes noooooo sense. I give the movie 3 thumbs up (don't ask where I got the extra thumb.)
