so, you want to be a tall blonde, training to be a mute Buddhist cage fighting nun?
well, ok...if you say so...everyone needs a goal :)
(*note* i use humor bc i dont know how to accept a complement..call it immature or call it a flaw..or just laugh at it...that would make me feel better) :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Feel better?
Ok, here's the damn compliment again :P I say, "Kyla, you rock! I want to be more like you!" You say, "Oh Hell yeah! Thanks!" Ok, now you try it on :P We'll make a good bitch out of you yet!
And then we'll make a movie. You can be the good bitch of the North. :D
To start with, yes, I want to remain on your friends list. If I didnt, then I would have taken you off mine. If you think that because I disagree with you I dont want to be your friend, or its some dramatic big fight, then maybe you should take me off anyway because it will just bring you grief.
Its not a big deal, and its not that important, but I did want to stick up for someone I care about and offer my input as a witness to the original incident. I would feel bad if I didnt at least chime in and say "hey, I saw it too, he's not just exaggerating and jumping to the wrong conclusion." I would do the same for you if someone said "no, I didnt say that" and I had heard them say it. The world does not hang in the balance as to how exactly the phrase was put, but if the world hung in the balance over something, you'd think I'd do more then post a nice little message clarifying the facts.
"If you think that because I disagree with you I dont want to be your friend, or its some dramatic big fight, then maybe you should take me off anyway because it will just bring you grief." I didn't say that it had something to do with you not being my friend, hence the line about not considering it a personal affront. All I said was, if you're going to trash my friends on your LJ, let me know now so I don't have to see it and stand up for them.
I also didn't say that because it's drama, you shouldn't post. I was responding to Paul who said it wasn't drama. IMHO, drama is everything that is superfluous to the necessities of life and causes problems between people.
Did I trash any of your friends in my live journal?
I assumed that since you asked me right after a disagreement that there was a reasonable chance you were upset about our discussion, so I decided to warn you that IF you felt that way then you might not want to have me on your friends list, cause you will see me disagree, and disagree bluntly. If not, then just ignore that. If the shoe dont fit, dont wear it. no biggie, I was wrong in my suspicion, so it doesnt even apply, feel free to disregard it.
Hehehehe. Ann, do you really think I expect people to agree with me? =) I attempted social suicide earlier this month on lj, do you think I care if someone doesn't agree with me? :)
Yay. :) You do realize this means that if you're going to say something negative about Caitlyn or anyone else that I consider a friend, that i'd appreciate if you make it so I (and Micheal for his own mental health) can't see it, right? I do consider you a friend.
What started my involvement in this little fiasco is that blackbrighid referenced me by my LJ handle in a comment (2005-06-11 19:06 GMT, thanks again SixApart) to one of modernwarrior's posts. Her comment, already heated by the initial subject of his post, and apparently fueled by jokingly trite "ex" commentary (notice the emoticons) of this post called into question the general nature of my LJ. I responded, asking her to qualify her statement, and asking if anyone else saw anything that made them feel my LJ was out of line.
At the time of her comment, I had exactly fifty (yes, I checked) posts in my LJ. To call in to question the nature of my LJ over one of my posts (that's only two percent, mind you), is in my opinion, a little ridiculous.
And isn't her recent comment (2005-06-14 20:12 GMT) to this post a little out of sorts with a cease-fire, no drama stance? How is this detente?
And now I'll address the original issue. Was my joke with cradleofashes inappropriate? Playing the devil's advocate, I see
( ... )
Paul, I asked what *I* had written that prompted the response. As I see that it wasn't me, then that satisfies that question. I actually don't know what "royal you" means.

If someone made a statement, supposition, etc., regarding you by name, would you refrain from responding?

And just remember, you asked.
