An Undesired Confession

Yami no Malik raised a brow, but otherwise did not react to the girl's demeanor at all. Assuming easily enough that Shizuka had some sort of unimportant drama troubling her that she would share with him, and that he would indulge her if only to find a way to have it lead up to another romp in bed, the Egyptian shifted from where he was lounging. He patted the spot on the couch beside him that was now vacant.

"Very well. Come sit down, speak your mind." He said with a yawn, his eyes dark and bored.

Shizuka hesitated, biting her lower lip, before sitting next to him, hands folded in her lap. She continually toyed with her fingers and nails, scratching gently along her skin, twining her fingers and carefully not looking at him.

"I'm pregnant," she blurted suddenly.

For a very brief second, Yami no Malik gaped at Shizuka silently. When that second had passed, he twisted where he was sitting, his hands gripping her shoulders roughly, his eyes wild.

He would have to kill her. He was going to have to kill that vile female right then and there. There was absolutely no way he could let her live anywhere near Pegasus if she was with child. With his child.

My child...

A thoughtful look too the Egyptian and his tanned fingers loosened slighly on Shizuka. He could make offspring work perfectly into his plans - if not for simply having another being blessed enough to be brought up by him and with his genes, he would have a legacy should his body be destroyed and have to wait for an unknown span of time before he would be back.

After considering this for a short time, Yami no Malik smiled suddenly and leaned forward, pressing a quick kiss to Shizuka's lips. "This is wonderful, my dear. Did you just find out today?" He purred to her.

Shizuka squirmed, fighting back a pained sound, feeling the skin of her shoulders bruise. She flinched away from him, for some reason expecting to be hit, or screamed at, or something; anything but that quick kiss and happy words.

She gaped at him for a moment, unsure of how to react, having been so sure that he would be angry and throw a total fit. He didn't seem the type to want to raise a family, and she certainly wasn't the type to get rid of the child. His apparent glee threw her off.

"Uhm...I suspected last week, but it wasn't confirmed until today...I...you're happy?"
