My to-be-read list of doom...

Here is the list of all the books I want to read or re-read (because, for most of them, I read those so long ago that I don't remember them at all). I'll try to make a dent in it, but I'm easily distracted by new authors I like or by a book that caught my eye in the library.

Oh, The Count of Monte Cristo, it's so great, I feel like rereading it now :)
I am actually finishing the Dark Tower series right now, it's incredible.

I like Dumas, at least what I've read by him : The Three Musketeers , Twenty Years Later and The Vicomte de Bragelone. I've been meaning to read The Count of Monte Cristo for ages, but I always get ditracted by something else.

And I love the Dark Towar series. I've just stopped reading it for a while (but I fully inted to finish it), at about one third of book 4, when Roland is about to explain about his past. I love the characters so much that I didn't feel like "getting to know" other characters...

I know what you mean about the characters. They become part of your life. I half expect to see Roland walking around with his guns on his hips ;)

Exactly! I really like Jake and Eddie. And Blaine was so creepy, I really have to admire King's writting skill, because he made me feel jumpy and edgy, using a kid's story and a train...

Nice list! I'm vaguely terrified that I've read a major chunk of it!

And if you're looking for recs--if you like Mercedes Lackey, you'd probably love anything by Anne Bishop. Her Dark Jewels series is particularly beautiful. She's an excellent writer.

Thanks for the rec! I've vaguely heard to Anne Bishop before, and I'm always on the look out for more sci-fi/fantasy novels.
