arggggggh
so last time i ordered from MJs, it took less than 20 minutes. because i 2.5 blocks down, and 1 block over from the place.
Tonight I placed my order over an hour ago. And it's not here.
because the delivery person is lost.
and yes, stupid lazy me should have just gone and picked it up, but i wanted to be treated, damnit.

the thuglets are back
and with them came the first plague of september. sore throat, stuffy nose, runny eyes. it's so much fun. no. really. my classes are going well so far. i feel somewhat like i've turned another corner. gone up another hill. something. i can feel my teaching changing again, morphing. And that means school starts. Not that it didn't go on for eight weeks during the summer, but those eight weeks are extremely different. This marks the first day of the standard 180 days of school. Hairspray (The musical; but just the movie)
Okay, so I'm watching Hairspray the musical. It's cute. It's super cute. And the bits from the original movie that blend into it are adorable. And the fact that the race part is elevated is fantastic. So many good things about it.
However, John Travolta as Tracey's mom is UNACCEPTABLE. UNACCEPTABLE do you hear me?
