I've finally gotten around to starting Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, and so far it's not bad if you like that sort of thing. But.

God, YES, I *hate* that cover! I started reading that book a while back, and when I read it on public transportation I always tried to cover up the cover as much as possible. Hahahahaha, an elf riding with an orc...

It's the special burden of the sci-fi/fantasy reader, isn't it? So much of the cover art is ridiculous and embarrassing.
