My umbrella was
turned inside-out more than once.
Such are storms this month.
Let's count ourselves lucky, for
these are yesterday's twisters.

Chilly mornings yet.
The trees still bud and flower
in firm defiance.
Spring will come, and too quickly
surrender to the summer.
