It has been 6 days and Borders hasn't called with an offer yet.

Argh, I really wanted to have an offer before we left, and we leave on Thursday and now I'm freaking out that they aren't going to make an offer.

Help!!!!!!!

6 days isn't that long, right? Right?

Blargh...back to the CSI marathon, it totally helps.

Six days is not that long, not when there's a three day weekend involved and when they said that the person who had to approve the hire is out on vacation. I know it's an excruciating wait, but really, don't take it as a bad sign for you.

penguins cute. they'll call when you are already on the road. it is like a law. And I concur, corporate america can not get its act together for a hire in 6 days.

it is known. that's why we picked a leaving date, to make them call. probably it'll happen in like Ohio, or something.

Even worse, I am a rehire, which means they probably think they can drag their asses even more, because i already know it takes forever, ya know?

Argh, we have to pack more.

Borders, as in the bookstore? Because my aunt (er, non-marriage related step aunt?) works for them in Colorado Springs, so if they don't get their act together, maybe she can help.

yeah, as in the bookstore. i've worked for them about 2 years now. My sell out to corporate america.
