28 Days Later ...

It's funny how 28 days can mean anything from the advent of a life of sobriety to the decline of modern society secondary to a zombie plague.  Four weeks, one cycle of the moon, a flip of the calendar page, what is it about that technically incomplete number that is so significant.  It isn't a "full" month (unless you're February and even then not ( Read more... )

I must apologize for being a silent lurker. I haven't been chatting much with anyone lately - and by lately I mean for the past few years - which really doesn't count for much even if people are in my thoughts.

I completely understand about the money situation. I've gone back and forth telling myself that if I did a couple of years in public school again, we'd still end up ahead (even after paying for full-time child care), but...I just can't bring myself to do that. Can't wait to see how funds go when I quit work - eeeeep. But if it does get too tight, I have options.

Money stress is horrid. Money may not buy happiness, but it sure can buy some security so that you can do the things that DO bring happiness.
