Well here we are, another year -- another chapter, another click on the master wheel, another 12 pages in the flip-book animating our lives. I wasn't going to apologize (yet again) for not writing regularly enough, but I will. Otherwise I will feel ungrateful. You can always email me. Most days it's the best way to reach me anyway, phone calls are impossible when I'm home with the kids or swamped in the office.

We taught James some basic signing when he was first diagnosed, he picked it up pretty quickly. My girlfriend's two young girls signed pre-speech too. Good luck with Sylvia.
