I have no clue what or who you are talking about and so far I've been very lucky not to have been deceived by the internet and the people I've met there, but from what I read on LJ occasionally, there must be some horrible people out there and I'm just sorry for those having to deal with all the mess they leave behind. :(

*sighs* It's something I've learnt a lot about over the last month or so - there are some people who will stop at nothing to get attention. At least I am assuming that's what it is, I can't see any other reason behind such situations. (Other than the obvious - that people who go around faking illnesses/deaths whatever are very very sick in another way.)

It isn't an HH fandom thing, thank goodness, but I kept specifics out of my post because there *is* an innocent party caught up in it all and I don't think it's fair to drag them into it when it wasn't anything to do with them. Just *really* needed to rant, and also interested to find out if anyone else had ever been on the receiving end of the same sort of faked situation.
