Bad, Michiko, bad! Mary, naughty!

Ms. Rowling is displeased.

"How dare she? How dare Michiko Kakutani, one of the most influential critic in the U.S., who routinely makes mincemeat out of authors, give me a postively glowing and spoiler-free review, even comparing my Harry Potter universe to Oz and Middle Earth? I am extremely over the Beckhams. I was over them before they happened in any noticeable way. It's a special power I have.

Also I'm guessing J.K. is dealing with twangy nerves from the incipient (and possibly already started) Potterdammrung (GOD I love typing that word, even if I can't work the umlauts) and we're lucky she isn't gluing feathers to her naked body and screaming outside Parliament, claiming she's Buckbeak and demanding to speak to the Ministry of Magic directly.

I was never into Beckhams. I think the couple overestimated the interest Americans would have of a player--famous though he is--in a not very popular sport, and his wife who's only notable for being in a disbanded pop group and for being very thin and tan while sporting huge boobs.

Shrill and loud the cry about not ruining things for fans is, I just think perhaps there's a little bit more concern over sales figures than the fans' reading experience. If there isn't such a huge fuss made about spoilers, I think there wouldn't be much dangers of spoilers being revealed. This is something for marketing and advertising students to study for sure.

I think she's okay looking but definitely not attractive. And her Zoolander expressions aren't doing her any favours.

No matter what happens, I will always love Posh Spice. It's like a sickness. Or maybe there was some mind control voodoo inside Learning to Fly.
