In 6 months I'll be 18 and that is a really awfull date: I'll officially stop being a child. That's sad :(

I guess its sad on some level. Being 17 and crazy is always fantastic. But you've been living the 18th year of your life for almost a year now.
But i wouldnt worry. Age is merely an illusion anyway. I still feel 16. :P

I know that people are the age they feel they are, my bf (who is 20) says he feels as if he was 17-18 :)

But still, ... after 18 there is 19,20,21.. and so on - until you end up a granny :)
