I don't think you're in the minority for not believing in ghosts - you must've just been amongst a crowd of believers. My husband doesn't believe in them, and I do. I don't think it matters either way though. :)

The ghost topic got me thinking into why i don't believe in them. My view is God would not allow them these things to happen but then I wanted to know why I believe that. I found this:

Its interesting what you can find out there. Probably your belief in God and the teachings you have received that lead you to believe in God is what lead you to not believe in ghosts. But sometimes we just forget where we got that idea.

True, I think that a lot of people who believe in God tend not to believe in ghosts. Although many people who are very religious do believe in ghosts, and use their religion as a way to somehow combat the spirits it seems.
