Another Life Update

Jun 23, 2019 10:56

It's already Summer! I really should have posted some of this sooner.

I spent the first eight days of March at another store, opening the salad bar for the first time. The first three days were tough, especially due to this salad bar using shallower pans (things dried out more easily) and organic romaine (so many bugs), but I was used to it on the fourth day. It also helped that this location had a smaller salad bar than my usual workplace.

This month, I offered my services to a third store in the chain, and the produce manager is willing to have me work Fridays and Saturdays, though he still has to talk to my produce manager and work things out. I'm a bit nervous because this third store has a bigger salad bar, but if the opening and closing procedures are like the store I was at in March, I think I can handle it.

On a different note, it's now been five years since I went to Israel. I'd love to go back, but I need to renew my passport first. I'd also love to go back to Japan and Italy.

Finally, I started looking at apartments for myself and my sister. I sent her a few listings, but she hasn't responded, even though she was the one who said she wanted to look for an apartment as soon as The Big Bang Theory ended. Oh well.

Well, that's the update. I hope I can update more frequently from now on!
