I'm glad my advisor hasn't ever said anything like that.

I think I'd end up emptying my bladder contents on the floor if he did, and that'd be down-right embarrassing.

ma, this reminds me of an episode of arrested development when a similar dude says something to the effect of, "i really shot my wad on that opportunity... so to speak..." and his bro-in-law tells him to "go tape record himself for an entire day, that he'd be surprised at some of his phrasing" haha
