this is not my forte... elijah was taken up, because scripture says he was to come again, and he did, as john the baptist. Jesus himself identified John the Baptist as Elijah.

There was a discussion in christianity a while back about the left behind series, and many people believed it based on bad theology.

Because- it was prophesied in the OT that Elijah would return. Jesus identified him as being John the Baptist.

yay you replied. I've seem to paint myself to a corner. This has happened before where i'm working on a painting, and I'm stuck and not know where to go. I've been having some pain throughout the day, so it hasn't been the most productive day :( This is rare, that I sit uninspired, not sure if it's the discomfort or what???
