I'm a bad bad friend, sometimes get so involved with RL that the journal stays unlooked at for ages. I am trying to change that with the Friending. Going to try to comment more, post a bit more.

Yes, and it's all done now! I only had about half my authors friended, as I used to keep tabs through live journal email notifications instead of checking the friends page, but my email client has been behaving strangely lately. Now I have friended every author with a live journal, at least the ones who have a live journal I know about.
