It was OK. Birthdays aren't a big thing in my family, but my husband did cook the evening meal which was a bonus :)

Yes, society has some fairly ridged ideas on how women are expected to act at certain ages.

I'm caught in some sort of time warp and in my heart and brain I'm still 27.
