Many if not all states in the US including mine (Maryland) have contact tracing apps, but I'm not sure how many people are actually using them. I've got it on my phone. We don't have to register when we go anywhere though, it's just so you can get notifications if you've been near someone who tests positive. Or send a notification if you test positive, of course.

Contact tracing! What a dream. Some areas are doing that in the USA, but not at all here in Florida, where we have over 1 million cases of Covid. That's part of why we have that many.

We have a Trump ass kisser for governor, and he keeps saying that it's safe, and talking about herd immunity. This is a retirement state. The vast majority of the population is over 65. He's insane, and he's killing people right and left.

It's cool that you have a senior community that's active. Since I'm still working (though I'm 67), I have no idea if there is even such a thing here.

I get up really early in the morning and at that time there are American news broadcasts On our SBS TV station. I regularly watch The America World News and CNN.

What's going on over there fills me with fear. All those Republicans that are in power who also believe that they were robbed of the election and are supporting Trump.
It's like they believe that they are living in a corrupt third world banana republic.

I can't see American ever getting over this in the eyes of the World. It will never regain the status that they once had.

Apart from the National Seniors I'm also in the Senior Citizens and my local branch offers exercise classes, yoga, dancing classes, art classes, pottery, indoor bowls, card days, and has a lot of outside bus excursions to

The Republicans really have turned out to be horrible people, and they still have support - from the very people they hurt the most. It's the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced.

At least we will have a President who is a decent man come January. Despite all the attempts to change that.

I know nothing about what kind of senior programs we have here, but I can assure you that it's nothing like you have. It sounds lovely.

Yes! Pat was able to find it to purchase on a download site and we play it a lot. Especially now. It's on a regular cycle. We now know all the words and sing along.

It's such a lovely song, and it's really about what Christmas SHOULD be for people.
