Hope you get feeling better ! Get well soon! anonymous February 8 2008, 20:55:20 UTC
HI Abby
I am sorry to hear you are sick.Jeff and Robin told me. Please try to just get well and do not stress about your work and responsibilities. They will not go anywhere. They will be there and people will understand...Also I want to give you a little advise as I am still sick with my condition going 3 weeks. YOur health is the most important thing in the world. You cannot buy it,and with out it you have nothing..Please do not make any decisions about your life until you are well and on top of things and in a better state of mind. If you need to adjust things,do what is best for you..I love you and wish you a fast recovery.

Hmmm...I guess it's not quite appropriate to say "I'm glad you're feeling better" so instead I'll go with the generic "I hope you feel better soon!" I would imagine you're always getting exposed to some gross bug being around kids all day...that's gotta get annoying.

Well, that's reassuring.

And yeah, feel better soon!

P.S. A friend of Bologna's told me about this artist colony/beit midrash that's starting up in Cleveland. Are you interested?

I did a web search and found the website of Tiferet Village. It must be what you're talking about--it's based in Cleveland and grew out of the master's program in Jewish spirituality at Siegal College (since discontinued). Thanks for mentioning it to me!

Cool! Sorry I forgot to send you the info; it was late, I was tired. :-P   Here's the message leftyjew sent me, in case it's still helpful to you:

Hey, Ron,
It was nice meeting you this shabbas. I asked my friend, Yishai Freedman, about the artist colony/bet midrash in Cleveland. He said, "Communal living is not a requirement of the program. We encourage marriage and what not." He'd love to talk with your friend. You can reach him at allisvain@gmail.com. Hope you're doing well,
Charles
