You'll notice that the former Bishop of Peoria is mentioned in there. Argh. He's an idiot, and his brother (a former English teacher at my high school) is an asshole.

no kiddin inappropriate. It is a sad abuse of power especcially since there is suppose to be a seperation of church and state.

I remember when i was in Scotland I ended up going to a Luthern mass because a friend was singing there. the priest (I think) had this speech which was not only rambling and badly deliever, but was all about politics and telling the people who to vote for and who to agree with. It felt so dark ages to me but you know me, I am just an sinful liberal.

The whole "free will" thing? Yeah, the Catholic hierarchy doesn't believe in that. We can't be trusted to make our own decisions, so they try to brainwash us into voting on one issue only. The scary thing is that Idiot has accepted money from organizations that have said (explicitly or not) that they believe that Catholics are evil.
