So I remembered what I was originally posting for. This is kind of just an awed rant.
After the exam today, after going to Nando's for Lan's birthday and becoming grossed out (only by the chicken, not the people!) I went and saw Top Arts at Fed Square. Lan's present - heels and a black dress are gorgeous.
Top Arts was awesome.
I started off by saying

You seem to be a verymuch tea kinda person, so do you know if it is possible to make chai at home? This is something i was thinking about today; could you just stick cinnamon and nutmeg and random spices together to make it work?

and i think it could work, you'll probably have to experiment a bit, but i can't see why not really :D
