The past two weeks have become lessons in life.

As usual, there is a guy.  This guy and I have spent a great deal of time together.  I enjoy his company, as I assume he enjoys mine.  He makes me laugh.  I almost make him do spit-takes.  I gleam when I'm with him.  He smiles a lot with me.

The problem arises in his sexual preference.  On Facebook,

oh friend, i think you misunderstood me! I'm not lowering myself for anyone. I'm just venting about crap... as usual.

Anecdotally, I know of several occurrences where several supposedly gay people found heterosexual partners and got married, and vice versa. Never mind what they thought they wanted, when they came across the right person for them, they were aware enough to know. I would expect that someone that is a match for you would be more than smart enough to figure this out.

In the meantime, please don't get so wound up over it that you make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Good to know... I'm just taking it all one day at a time and enjoying the fun I get to have with my FRIEND. If I expect nothing more than friendship, then I can't be disappointed. It's easier to be calm about this whole situation when sober (last entry was St.Patty's Night!). Thanks for the advice :)
