Hope you and those you know in Japan-land are all OK.
New Zealand has, of course, been very earthquake-focused over the past few weeks and had search and rescue from Japan coming to try and pull survivors from the rubble.
So sad that now they'll be tending to their own so soon.
At the moment everyone I know seems to be okay, and it was unexciting enough here that pretty much all of the exposure we got came from the news. It's great to be lucky, but I definitely feel for those who got hit :/
I've been hearing now about another quake - not a freakin' shock, but another quake - over in Nagano, and I about crapped till I found out where it was.
Nature needs to slack off on all of you for a few weeks now.
It'd be nice to have a solid few months of boring, seriously. The way the plates were moving for this one makes it seem like we'll be getting aftershocks for a while, rarr. Can't even really feel them here, but closer to the epicenter I'm sure they're all pretty traumatized.
