Well, I dunno.

Are we talking gift as in Grissom or Catherine or someone coming into the lab, dropping something on my desk, and going, "Hey Greg, analyze this - top priority." Cause, yeah, most of the lab considers bringing me something to dissect a gift. ... Not that I'm complaining - them bringing me stuff to take a look at is a gift if you look at it in the right light. It keeps me from being bored. But it's not like I get to hang on to it for any length of time ... except for maybe that time that Grissom made me pawn my 1909 penny for a 1916 D dime. Then, in that case, I got to keep the dime, since it was my trade.

But if we're talking like a gift gift, I think my aunt got me this really bad tie for my college graduation. Now, strictly speaking, I'm not a tie man - I kinda feel like I've got my head in a noose when I'm wearing one, and considering what I do for a living? Yeah, you get the picture. But anyway, not only am I not a tie man, but this thing was ugly. I mean like yikes ugly. Like that thing hasn't left my closet since I got it ugly.

And it has fish on it. Little blue and green ones.

And yeah, that's weird.

Cross-posting this here.

Why?

Because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
