Mexico Decriminalizes Drugs

Why is it that Canada is so afraid of damaging our relations with the US to even follow through with marijuana decriminalization, but Mexico can go ahead and decriminalizing everything from cocaine to LSD without a peep heard from Washington

I read about that yesterday. It makes sense from a law enforcement stance because now stricter laws can be enacted on those who are actually a problem to their society.

I don't think that there's a single aspect of the war on drugs that's logical or rational. If Mexico can do it, so can Canada. It will never be a reality in this country as long as a Conservative government is in power.
