FOD (foreign object damage) walkdown is when everybody from there shops lines up on the flight line or flight deck and we walk the entire runway to make sure there is no FOD. FOD can be anything from a leaf to a little stone that could be picked up by the exhaust and blown in somebodys face or even another jet intake or something.the navy- and
