Many years ago I had a fox stole made, to copy an Oscar de la Renta. It was nine feet long, two pelts wide, U-shaped, with two tails at the curve of the U, and two tails on each of the ends of the other part of the U. I loved it, it was my Jean Harlow fur. Later, when the live-action 101 Dalmations came out, a friend made me a Cruella deVille stole, based in part upon my fox. It was dalmation-spotted fur, lined with red velvet. On the ends were rows of "puppy" tails, also dalmation. She weighted them with lead split shot so that they moved well. The fact that if you ran your hands over them it felt like it had bones in it? Well, that was a bonus.
