Fic Recs: Part VI

Jun 10, 2007 10:10

HELLO!!! Does anyone remember me? It's been forever, I know...I had AP exams, then finals, and then I got my wisdom teeth pulled. It's been one hectic month but I made it out alive. I'm ready for senior year!

Check out my new layout: labrindille. I'll also update my profile.

As promised, here are MANY fic recs for you! All D/G.

One-Shots/Short Stories )

Hey! Nice to see you popping up again. Congratulations on getting through your crazy busy year :)

Did you get all four teeth pulled? It's such a hassle, isn't it?

Yay for recs! I haven't read much fic lately; it's nice to have somewhere to start :)

Yes, I did. I had crazy teeth. My tops were in and straight, but they pulled them anyway. My bottoms were growing TOWARDS my teeth, not upward. So they had to cut and drill them out. Stitches for the bottoms.

Surprisingly, I didn't bruise. Or swell. I was both happy and disappointed (I mean, seriously, all those drugs and pain and I get no physical proof?)

Hey! Glad everything went well and you're okay. My friend is getting her wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Hopefully it goes well for her too. Nice to see you're back!

Tell her to do ice packs every other 30 minutes (30 with them, 30 without them) for two to three days, and to eat applasauce before taking pain/antibiotic meds. Anything else, especially ice cream, might make her sick. And that's coming from a massive diary consumer ;)

Oh, and VISIT HER. She will be bored out of her mind without company.

Oh, I know exactly what to tell her. I had mine out recently, and in Sarah fashion, had a huge medical crisis and learned of a new rare disorder I happen to have. Did I mention I could've died? Yeah, so I told her either she or her mom needs to call me tomorrow to let me know she's still alive. Plus I'm planning on visiting her Tuesday to bring her some movies to choose from that she will be able to borrow.
PS You're not supposed to use the ice pack after the first 24 hours, otherwise it prolongs the pain. I used mine for quite a few days before we realized the mistake. Needless to say, it hurt.

My doctor said to keep the ice packs for 24 to 48 hours. Since I didn't swell much, we ditched the ice packs after the first day.

I'M GLAD YOU DIDN'T DIE! What happened???
