I can live with a little silence when the result is sure to be delightful! And what a great thing this new research site is sure to be. Decomposition as affected by freezing and thawing, especially over several cycles, is sure to have very different results than the reasonably constant decomp as evinced in a more southerly clime. I expect the effects of scavenging to be resonably similar (unless the sites are protected from such things.) I look forward to hearing from you when any results from this site are published in the future.

Into the silence will also come your advanced copy of BEFORE, so you can be busy reading that in about a month.

I think this new facility will be very useful. It won't be ground breaking like the TN facility, because so much is now known, but for those of us in northern climes, it could make a huge difference toward being able to pinpoint so many victim death details. I will be sure to pass along any news that I hear!
