new year's resolution, or lack there of

as we zoom towards the end of the year, with increasing momentum like water circling the drain. i have conflicts and bruise relationships with my dispassionate parents and friends who slip away through passive choices. no conflict resolution. no effort to compromise to make both parties happy. if i ask for these things, i will loose these people
