i met a new friend recently. she seems to know a lot of my friends through highschools and association whatnot, but i had never met her before. her last name is burr and she is supposedly a distant relative to Aaron Burr. most people will remember the name from those milk commercials where a radio show calls some random dude and asks-"Who shot

Hamilton and Burr

Hamilton distrusted Burr as a politician. He said that Burr was not to be trusted with power. He was obviously right when Burr with a gun in his hand shot Hamilton. Whether Burr intentionally killed Hamilton or killed him by mistake I would say he is guilty as charged. It was unfortunate that Hamilton was killed but he did a great service to this country ridding it of Burr.
