I got to taste some different types of wine side-by-side this weekend and now I want to go wine-tasting. I think that would be fun. :) I wonder if it is expensive. Probably. Darn.

Try the grocery outlet for wine! They had a major wine sale last week and I got a white Riesling (2005) and a red Merlot (2005) for $10! They were originally $14-16 each!

In Idaho there's a tour bus that takes people from winery to winery for wine tasting. Oregon probably has a few more winery's and I bet they have something similar. I think it would be so much fun!

Ooh, that is a good idea. I always get wine to cook with there because I figure, heck, why pay more than $3 a bottle if you're just going to cook with the stuff. But maybe I should shell a little more out and branch out a little. I used to love going to the Grocery Outlet in Corvallis, because there was this one lady (who was missing several teeth) who either tasted a different bottle of wine each night or was really good at faking that she knew something about each wine. I was reading about some local wineries and it looks like they have some fun events. I'm definitely going to make this happen... before next summer, at least.

If you ever go, take me =D Oh and come to Seafood and Wine! It's not terribly expensive and there's usually some really good stuff there.

Oooh, this year, I really want to do that. I haven't had a chance yet. Let's make it a plan :)
