See, you don't know the full extent of my evil plan, but I am not playing funny buggers when I say that when I have finished with this series, it will have an unmitigatedly happy ending for everyone. Everyone will just have to go through a lot of shit first.

Victor is not at all a student of biology. He knows how it works when it works, but not otherwise. He is largely mystified about his insides, too.

Aw, they're so CUTE. "Perhaps you've worn it out?" is one of the most precious virgin!Holmes lines I think I've ever read. I'm so loving these fly-on-the-wall glimpses into their chaste budoir.

Oh, they will be consummating it, and soon (in spectacular, enthusiastic, repetitive fashion over two parts, as far as my plan goes, not in the next part but the one after).
