Stunning work, I love the dark humour and John's convulted journey to the end conclusion. It's written excellently and fits the character so very well.

Not sure how they are going to be extricated from this one...I'm sure Moffat will make it brilliant...but this character sketch...that look that Cumberbatch and Freeman exchange just before Holmes lowers the weapon at the vest...all the worlds of emotion in their eyes is EXACTLY why I am so grateful that they got it right in the casting department and why I watch BBC television almost to the exclusion of anything else!

If you were writing the interior dialogue in that electric moment I can't see how it would be more perfect than this.

Neither am I - I can't see Moriarty wanting Sherlock dead, though. And you are so right about the casting, they've got it bang on.
