First solid meal (2 very small potatoes, mashed) I have downed since Friday night. Yay! I am using livejournal to distract me from my solid food consumption so that I can more comfortably hold it down. I can't sit in the same place for a while or I get nauseous or I fall asleep. Speaking of falling asleep, the story I wanted to tell ( Read more... )

whats been happening to you? Through various ambiguous posts I have this vague picture of broken limbs, motorcycle crashes, booze, a girl named barbara, stomache problems, and then this (dream?). Do you have leprosy?

Jake! Let's see...

I got in a bar fight with my best friend's girlfriend about which guy we came with was more cute playing patty-cake. She broke my clavicle (which I promply named Barbara), but she'll be paying for facial reconstruction for the next twenty years. Crazy bitch. I did crash into a Geo Metro on the highway during a rainstorm because my 650 BMW is much more badass. I got a bruise on my hip, but stayed on the road. I don't think that the 2 year old in the back seat lived through the cliff dive; I got out of there as soon as possible. I got into some heavy drugs the past couple of weeks and forgot to refer to my Nurse's Drug guide on mixing them with alcohol which lead to my over-night bathroom stay and two days confined to my house. I believe that the dream was a flashback secondary to my withdrawl from the whole ordeal. I was worried about the leprosy, so I'm seeing an acupuncturist tomorrow.

What's new with you? :)
I fucking miss you, man.

Your dream reminds me of some of the terribly weird ones I was having last spring, when I was writing my capstone for my English degree, "The Manichaean Body in The Third Policeman:
or Why Joe’s Skin Is Scaly.

Funny: I've fulfilled all the requirements for a degree in English at one of Oregon's state schools, except for all those gen-ed credits that I somehow circumvented -- well, I conned my academic advisors into letting me into upper-division courses when I was, technically, a freshman/sophomore - and now, whenever I get around to FAFSA/loaning myself up, getting into tremendous debt, it will be so I can take "pointless" courses just so I can get the piece of paper with 'CHRISTOPHER ERVIN [...] BACHELOR OF ART [...] ENGLISH written on it.

Sigh. F College and draconian inanity.

Okay, that was wildly off my point, which is: I'm happy to see you posting on LJ again.

I didn't know what you were getting at, true. Miss you!

I'll have to read that some day.
