Seriously fucked it up. I knew it wouldn't be the same movie, but this was bordering on ridiculous. There were points were the story was so close to the original, and then it took that left turn at Albuquerque and got wierd again. Like how Willow became the cop's ex-fiancee, and Rowan was now his daughter.

And Nicholas Cage...if this is his current acting skill, then he's fallen far. His performance was nothing short of wooden. Poorly faked emotions until the credits, and robotic delivery. I was really disappointed.

I didnt think it was that bad, even if they tampered with the original story, and the british movie version.

Cage is getting more and more into production, and less time in front of the camera. He is going to be The Ghost Rider, which was a pretty good comix. So, that ought to be a real disaster. Maybe I just have a fond spot about his acting because I think he was so darn cute in "Valley Girl"... and his classic deathless line of "Fuck You, Fuck You For Sure."
