http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,306557,00.html yeah yeah blah blah i know it came from fox, but really i just want to know if you think they should prosecute this kid who set the fires accidentally?
I understand it was an accident, but people died in this thing. People are homeless. It fucked up the borders and caused untold amounts of damages.
Yes they should prosecute. Due to the fact that he's a minor and it was an accident I think they should try him as a minor, not an adult, and let him learn a lesson from it.
i wish they would release the age of the minor in question so i could form a more solid opinion. it sounds like from the article it was someone very young, but if it was, say, a 16 or 17 year old, they need to prosecute and try him as an adult. you're right, people have lost so much. it's heartbreaking.
I agree with this. Anything over 12, they should prosecute. Beneath that, not so much. The juvenile system in most states is bad. In California, I can only imagine it would be much much worse--I am guessing at this from the problems of overcrowding in the general prison population. This kid could be very very very damaged by being incarcerated in that system. I don't see how that would benefit anyone.
