I wonder if she could have declined to answer the question as clearly this was a difficult to field question. It's good that she was honest and while the questions are supposed to be challenging to a degree... this one was one that was clearly so divisive with only "wrong" answers...
actually - this is the truth, really - if she'd said she believed that it should be legalized, myself and most of my friends {those right-wing conservative Christian types} would have said "yeah, well, it's california, what do you expect?"
i'm actually wondering if it wasn't a hit job. hilton is known for such things, so i'm wondering if she hasn't been an outspoken opponent of gay marriage, or just really outspoken with her faith and her conservatism, so he picked that question for her on purpose to "expose" her for her views.
Well, Perez Hilton is an asshat. And Miss California is a blond bimbo. And the Miss USA pageant is a bunch of bullcrap...like we need more unrealistic expectations about what beauty is shoved in our faces....
So now I'm wondering why anybody even gives a flying you-know-what about what either of them had to say in a pageant that is already divisive by its own nature.....

that Perez guy is an OBVIOUS flamer.. and this is a contest that chooses women.. for their looks and "talents"???
WHY-- was he even involved?
I didnt agree with the girls' view but she didnt offend me in any way. I dont know what the big stink is about.
