I slept like a dead person Friday night. The sitter was worth her weight in gold, if only for the peace of mind to be able to do that! I got to hospital at 9:00 Saturday morning, paid the sitter and began my own vigil. They had had a rough night, so she slept a while after I got there ( Read more... )

Today is Surgery Day.
After the colonoscopy yesterday morning, Mom spent night in St Joseph last night, I'm on my way up there now.
The surgery will happen sometime before noon.
Will update when able.

Last Friday we were getting ready to go see Michelle in the opening night of "Thoroughly Modern Millie", when my stepmother called, rather unprecedented, to say she was following the ambulance carrying my dad to the hospital in Houston. So, we called & changed our tickets to the next night, jumped in the truck & headed down.
