Some girl from a long while back, forever trapped in her sorrows got me addicted to Jeff's voice and poetry.

His version of Cohen's Hallelujah is simply beautiful (and very sensual).

I am glad you had a good day...even if I have no idea what you did :-P

A girl forever trapped in her sorrows? Sounds familiar. ;) Actually I am the most upbeat depressive you'll ever meet! That's why Buckley AND Cohen are two of my favorite artists. Both have a melancholy twist, but sprinkle just enough self-deprecation (humor) and poetry (beauty) to allow me to listen without slitting my wrists every time!

Yesterday we went surfing. That should clear up some sorrow for at least a while. That is, if I am not totally debilitated by soreness.

Yeah...Laura (pronunce LAR-ah; like the word "Car") was truly wrapped in her sorrows. I often wonder what happened to her.

I should bring my telephoto lens sometime and get pictures of you out on your board.
