Hey -- thanks! We should hang out the next time I'm northbound -- which should be relatively soon, since I'm rather intent upon leaving San Diego as soon as possible. Some days one just has to pause and wonder something along the lines of "what cosmic joke landed me in this shithole anyway?"

i know the feeling, but san diego is a damn sight better than bakersfield, let me tell you. the day i got out of there was the day i stopped hating life.

yeah, i'd love to hang out if you're ever in the area, and if you need a place to stay while looking for another apartment you can always stay at my place. i'm sure i'll have an extra square of floor or two, and you seem clean enough, haha. oh, wait, i've got to FIND an apartment first...
